Even though this style/genre of horror isn't totally up my alley, I still genuinely enjoyed playing this, and I want to see this go places.
I played a bit of this for my channel. It is very interesting. And while I didn't finish it cuz I'm terrible at games lol. I did have a good time. And am curious to see what the full game has to offer.

Please make an option to swap Z with Y key. I know there are options to change the keyboard layout in windows, but it would be a nice feature for european people.
nice game. just started playing this is my second video game though . i liked the way it goes though, got goosebumps when enemy came suddenly. initially when the game starts the repeated action makes feel little annoyed but thats what makes second part special. the initial part is it under work?

not a bad little game, kinda takes away the spook factor when it's so frustrating at times (like the chase after picking up the eye which is where I stopped playing) but it's definitely got plenty going for it, great animations and sound, very spooky moments and I love the desktop aspect of it and having an extra mini game to play was really nice too
I just came from Alpha Beta Gamer's video on this, and I have to say I'm super impressed by the visuals, gameplay, and music of this game! Exe games have a bit of a reputation for being cheap or poorly made, but you put together a game that can stand on its own merit!
That being said, I'm guessing that you're a non-native English speaker, as some of the story and dialogue were a little hard to understand, so I'd like to volunteer to help with localisation and editing!
This is great! Completed the demo. Was just wondering about those locked files onm the desktop. Is there a way to open them in the demo or is that part of the full release?
Absolutely AMAZING second demo! Such a promising game to come! I loved the small changes to the Toad level, as well as the additions to the computer that you can access! Looking forward to the full release!
I don't think Millie's Nightmare is winnable. Or at least, I can't tell if it is. I manage to find the first three pages, but then I am wandering all over the map and no sign of the last one. I checked every burrow, and still nothing.
Other than that, there's really nothing to complain about. Other than, well, how annoying this game can be. The presentation of this game gives off serious NES Godzilla vibes, and the sprite art is all the better than before. Really loved smacking Toad in the face with a rock.
But the difficulty... I don't find this game particularly scary, but a game becomes less scary when the feelings of fear get replaced with frustration. The timing of the turnip throwing for the Toad chase, and how you have to wait for the complete end of the Punisher eye animation before you can move again. And that split second is the annoying difference...
1. How come you released the updated version on Itch and not on GameJolt? 2. Are you aware of Mutkifer being adapted into Nightmare of the Mushroom Kingdom? And if so, are you at all involved in that?
1. I Want the game to have more general public, and that can be found on itch.io, i will later after some time publish the demo on gamejolt.
2. I literally just found out about the existence of that, didn't know what it was. And apparently yeah, mutkifer is there lol And sophie too. So no, i'm not involved.
Was talking to JMC about this on DeviantArt, and he's interested if you have any feedback on what he has publicly available for the adaptations of your work.
Note on the song, from JMC: "the vocals there are temporary, one person will help me make new versions, in general the song can also be slightly reworked. And yes there is a reference to SMB3 Game over sound effect"

If i'm being honest, the game is particulary easy. I personally don't agree and can't understand how you find that difficult because even with that, with having to wait the animation to end, the game still gives you a lot of time to get to the end of the eye path. and ofc i made it to wait until the end of the animation, because if he has his eye semi-closed, he still could see you.
The turnip throwing at toad chase was a choice, wanted people to say "Nah how can you do that?" and i made that decision beacuse again, toad is really not that fast :/ in fact he is very slow.
In millie's nightmare, you said that you checked every drawer? are you sure? if the anwser is yes, then it could be a programming error by my part but the game is beatable, at least just the only level that's in the demo. But anyway thank you for your time, and thanks for playing.
Well in that case for Punisher, sounds like a "skill issue" on my part. I acknowledge that fact, because I even suck at the original Super Mario Bros., which is what a lot of these horror games are based on.
As for Toad... I see your point. After I finally figured out the turnip thing, I managed to beat Toad just after that.

I've never played an "EXE" type game but LOVED this. It was difficult in some parts but still so very good overall. I do hope this is still in the works and can't wait to see more.
Ended up liking this a lot! The art is definitely a highlight, but the more abstract approach to the environments was a great touch! The difficulty was just right too, it was actually a little hard. Great stuff!

Great and impressive creepy pasta Mario Bros 2 game. Really impressive.
